Selkie

 

Ability Score Increase: Increase one ability score by 2, and increase a different one by 1, or increase three different scores by 1.

Alignment: Selkie tend toward neutrality. Their culture encourages them to be mindful of life's currents, knowing when to harness fate's tides and when to flow along with them.

Creature Type: You are a Fey

Age: Selkie mature at the same rate as humans but live about two centuries.

Size: Your size is Medium.

Speed: You have a base speed of 30 foot.

Child of the Sea: You have a swimming speed of 30 feet, and you can breathe air and water.

Friend of the Sea: Using gestures and sounds, you can communicate simple ideas with any beast that has an innate swimming speed.

Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Seal Form: As an action you can magically assume the form of a Seal. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, or drop to 0 hit points. All the normal rules for Wild Shape involving Stats, class/racial features, magic, etc. apply to these animal forms as well.

Life in the North Seas: You have resistance to cold damage.

Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
