Battle Master
Combat Superiority
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you have dedicated yourself to the mastery of combat. You gain three additional Maneuvers of your choice, from the standard or expanded lists. You can use one maneuver per attack. You learn one additional maneuver at 8th, 13th, and 18th level.
You also gain 2 additional Superiority Dice and two additional dice at 8th, 13th, and 18th level.
Additionally, you gain a +1 bonus to your Superiority Dice rolls and maneuver DC and an additional +1 at 10th and 18th level.
Student of War
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Insight and one type of artisan tool of your choice.
Additionally, when you roll Initiative, roll one Superiority Dice and add the result as a bonus to your Initiative roll. This does not expend the Superiority Dice.
Veteran of War
At 7th level, your mastery of combat is second to none. You can use multiple maneuvers per attack, the number of maneuvers you can use per attack can’t exceed your proficiency bonus.
Knew Your Enemy
Starting at 7th level, as a bonus action you can spend a Superiority Dice to observe another creature, choose one creature you can see within 60 feet, you can learn certain information about its capabilities compared to your own. The DM tells you if the creature is your equal, superior, or inferior in regard to two of the following characteristics of your choice:
- Strength score
- Dexterity score
- Constitution score
- Armor Class
- Current hit points
- Total class levels, if any
- Fighter class levels, if any
Once you learn something about a creature, you can't use this feature on that creature again until you finish a long rest.
Iron Sharpens Iron
Starting at 10th level, when you fail an Ability Check or Saving Throw, you can spend a Superiority Dice, adding it as a bonus to the failed ability check or saving throw.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Master of War
At 15th level, you gain a Superiority Dice at the start of your turn. You can never have more Superiority Dice then your maximum.
Steel Sharpens Steel
Starting at 18th level, once per turn when you make a weapon attack or damage roll, you can spend a Superiority Dice, adding it as a bonus to the roll.
